Make some noise!

The Morning Advertiser has launched a campaign to protect established pubs and bars that have been threatened with closure due to noise complaints.
The aim is to unite the industry and lobby the Government into implementing an " agent of change principle"
This simply means that anyone moving near an established music venue will be responsible to make their residence sound proof, at present they can complain to the local Authority and the restrictions are placed on the Venue.
This principle has already been implemented by Bristol City Council in August forcing developers to install sound proofing in new residential flats being built opposite an established music venue.
This would help hundreds of licensees across the country and prevent extra conditions being placed on their license.
